Angels and Friends
is a unique, authorial collection based on illustrations by contemporary artist Dorota Marciniak, who created the recognizable poetic world of child-angels known as Angelville (Aniolkowo). It is a place filled with tenderness, imagination and simple emotions, where everyday life blends with magic and childlike sensitivity meets symbols of kindness, friendship and love.
The illustrations feature gentle angel children – girls and boys – accompanied by their little friends: teddy bears, rabbits, birds, cats, bees and whimsical creatures. The scenes are enriched with flowers, plant pots, hearts, birdhouses, handwritten messages such as “I love you”, “Believe in yourself” and “Enjoy the little things”, as well as subtle elements of nature and everyday objects. Together they create a safe, joyful and imaginative world.
