Carnival is an artistic collection inspired by the world of carnival, theatre, masquerade, and symbolic stories about emotions hidden behind masks. It is a space where reality blends with illusion, and the stage becomes a place of silence, mystery, and unspoken meanings.

The collection draws deeply from the tradition of commedia dell’arte, puppet theatre, and historical carnival performances. Alongside Pierrot – who remains one of the motifs but is no longer the sole protagonist – appear iconic theatrical characters such as Arlecchino (Harlequin), Colombina, Pulcinella, Pantalone, Il Dottore, Il Capitano, and Brighella. They are joined by unmistakable carnival masks and symbols: the mysterious Bauta, the elegant Moretta, and the dark, haunting figure of the Medico della Peste – the Plague Doctor. The collection also features harlequins, performers, doll-like figures, ballerinas, musicians, and actors. Masks, fans, costumes, musical instruments, stage props, and theatrical curtains create a rich, multi-layered narrative filled with nostalgia, symbolism, and theatrical poetry.

Backgrounds and scenographic elements play an equally important role: aged documents, admission tickets, handwritten notes, archival records, labels, signs, and textures of fabric, walls, wood, and stage floors. Diamond patterns, stitching, cracks, wear marks, and traces of time give the collection a strong vintage character and artistic depth.

The color palette is muted and elegant: off-whites, creams, beiges, sepia tones, greys, dusty blues, muted reds, and burgundy, complemented by subtle accents of black and gold. Soft, time-worn colors enhance the melancholic, theatrical atmosphere.
